Co-supervision of my first PhD student (start: 24. February 2025)

Welcome to the team, Nadejda Baraznenok 🤓! As a PhD student, she joins our mission in the Park-MOVE project at Karolinska Institutet to advance personalized motor-cognitive treatment options for Parkinson's disease using digital health technologies (i.e. exergames).

With her background in psychology, Nadejda will bring a unique perspective to co-design and develop a well-accepted solution to help individuals with Parkinson's disease to integrate exercise into their daily lives.

She will be supervised by Erika Franzén and co-supervised by Breiffni Leavy, Andreas Wallin and myself.

Launch of website (30. October 2024)

I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new personal researcher website today.

This platform is dedicated to sharing my research mission and contributions to academic research. You’ll find information on my current projects, publications, awards, media mentions, peer-review activities, conference contributions, and my roles in supervision and teaching.
Additionally, the website features testimonials from some of my research partners and insights into the roots of my passion for research.
One of the most memorable moments in my research journey was receiving incredibly positive feedback from esteemed colleagues, such as Prof. Dr. Eling D. de Bruin and Prof. Dr. Jean-Jacques Temprado, who appreciate my willingness to go the extra mile and the resulting comprehensive and in-depth work. This kind of recognition truly reinforces my commitment to advancing the field.
I hope you enjoy your visit to my website! Thank you for your time and interest in my work.Â
